Package Analysis for 'com.android.carrierconfig' (Aosp / Advanced Debloat Target): Dynamically provides configuration for the carrier network. The config contains: Roaming networks, Voicemail settings, SMS/MMS settings, VoLTE/IMS settings, and more. If a carrier app is installed it will be queried for overrides to these settings. Seems to run on boot and when you swap SIM? Android users frequently spot 'com.android.carrierconfig' running persistently in Battery Usage, Network Data Monitor, or Developer Running Services. Note: Malicious trojans and stalkerware APKs also frequently spoof legitimate Aosp system package names like 'com.android.carrierconfig' to evade manual detection.
