With it turned on, it activates and shows the screensaver of your choice when you dock or charge your device. Can display the time, weather, quotes, photos, news, tweets, or anything else Daydream app developers can think of. Android users frequently spot 'com.android.dreams.basic' running persistently in Battery Usage, Network Data Monitor, or Developer Running Services. Note: Malicious trojans and stalkerware APKs also frequently spoof legitimate Aosp system package names like 'com.android.dreams.basic' to evade manual detection.
