Package Analysis for 'com.policydm' (Oem / Advanced Debloat Target): Samsung security policy update ( Updatable policy files designed to increase android security and detect malicious behaviour. Has nothing to do with OTA updates or Android Security patches. Can be removed without issue ( See "com.samsung.android.spdclient" for more information. Android users frequently spot 'com.policydm' running persistently in Battery Usage, Network Data Monitor, or Developer Running Services. Note: Malicious trojans and stalkerware APKs also frequently spoof legitimate Oem system package names like 'com.policydm' to evade manual detection.
