Technical Analysis & Behavior
Package Analysis for 'com.samsung.android.intelligenceservice2' (Oem / Recommended Debloat Target): It seems that this package is a kind of spyware. Very difficult to find information about this. Some people say it's linked to Carrier IQ (which is a carrier rootkit for the NSA). This package also have very stranges permissions : READ_PLACE / WRITE_PLACE. I couldn't find any explaination on the web. So either it's a useless samsung package either it's a spyware. I delete it and I didn't notice anything bad. Android users frequently spot 'com.samsung.android.intelligenceservice2' running persistently in Battery Usage, Network Data Monitor, or Developer Running Services.
