Package Analysis for 'com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity' (Oem / Advanced Debloat Target): Samsung Device security for the Smart Manager app using McAfee antivirus engine. This is the antivirus in Settings -> Device care -> Security Privacy nightmare(LOTS of permissions!) for a bit of security. ARCHIVE: Some people reported that without this package they weren't able to install apps anymore BUT I personally removed this and I still can install apps. I think(not sure) that you can remove this safely if you also remove com.samsung.aasaservice and com.samsung.android.sm Android users frequently spot 'com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity' running persistently in Battery Usage, Network Data Monitor, or Developer Running Services. Note: Malicious trojans and stalkerware APKs also frequently spoof legitimate Oem system package names like 'com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity' to evade manual detection.
